window 7 the dependency service or group failed to start
I facing the problem that cause me cannot access the internet. I open the network and sharing center, under the biew your basic network information and set up connection heading, it display unknown and underneath say The dependency service or group failed to start.
To solve this problem I visit that the device manager show the network driver is corrupted. You try to unistall the drive that show ! , x or ? . The rescan the driver it will ask you to reinstall the driver. If the driver cannnot be deleted or update then you have to follow the following steps.
There are few solution :
First Solution:
First, you open command prompt (start >All Programs >Accessories > Command Prompt [ps: Right click and run as Administrator]).
Then you type in sfc/scannow and then press enter. You have to wait few minute to let it finish scan . See the output to make sure the corrupt file was repaired. Reboot the computer.
If the problem still exist after reboot , then you have to reset the TCP/IP stact to installation defaults by typing netsh int ip reset reset.log and reset the WINSOCK entries to installation defaults by type netsh winsock reset catalog. Reboot the machine.
2nd Solution:
If the solution 1 din't works then you can try this solution. First open the command prompt with admin privileges. Then You type in
net localgroup administrators localservice /add
net localgroup administrators networkservice /add
exit
then reboot the computer.
Hope this few solution can help you if have another solution please share it . Thank for reading.
